French Twins Removals - Last minute checklist for the day

On the day

Make sure your mobile phones are charged and that you have all your contact phone numbers to hand (real estate agents, storage facilities, removalists)
Keep your pets safe and not underfoot of the removalists
Make sure the access path is kept clear for the removalists. Make sure there is enough parking space for their truck (10-15m). Let your neighbours know you will be moving if the truck is likely to block access to their properties so they can arrange to move their vehicles
Be clear in your instructions to your removalists – make sure you have a firm idea of what you want them to do and what you will be doing yourself and importantly where you want everything to go in your new home. Remember though that they are the experts and take your lead from them when it comes to actually moving things
the things you will be taking with you (your personal effects and valuables) are kept well away so they won’t be accidentally packed up
